Boultbee Brooks Real Estate acquires Alpha Court in York

November 2013 London/Hereford – Boultbee Brooks Real Estate is pleased to announce the acquisition of Alpha Court , Monks Drive, York for a total consideration of £2.88 million. The 29,750 sq. ft. building is a purpose built grade A office development in York’s premier business park located adjacent to Monks Cross Shopping Centre.

The park appealed to BBRE because of its low vacancy rates, excellent transport links and the continuous investment in the surrounding area, most notably the development of a new John Lewis store.

Alpha Court was built in 2003. The properties are constructed with steel frames, composite panel clad roofs, composite panel and brickwork elevations and aluminium framed double glazed windows and doors.

BBRE managing director Clive Boultbee Brooks said:
“York is a historic cathedral city and is the principal commercial and retailing centre of North Yorkshire, as well as being a major tourism and transport hub. York benefits from excellent transport links with the A19, A64 and A59 all providing access to the UK’s major road network via the A1M motorway. The city is also a major terminus on the east coast railway line with rail services to London Kings Cross being as quick as 1 hour 49 minutes.”
